Biography
Nikola Tesla was an American inventor and engineer of Serbian origin. Born in 1856 in Smiljan in the Austrian Empire (now Croatia) he died in 1943 in New York. He mainly worked in the field of electricity, but was also a mechanical engineer and physicist.
He was considered one of the greatest scientists in the history of technology. He has filed more than 300 patents (covering a total of 125 inventions) but many of them have been wrongly attributed to Edison. Tesla is recognized as one of the most creative engineers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.
Science and spirituality, spirituality and science
As a result of his inventions, Tesla no longer saw a limit of quantity and distance in the transmission of electrical energy through the atmosphere. He goes so far as to assume that, on a larger scale, this aerial transfer of energy could cause an illumination of the atmosphere, like our fluorescent lamps. Moreover, thanks to the chemical reactions that these emissions cause, we could extract nitrogen from the air and make a profitable fertilizer.
Paradoxically, it is these scientific discoveries that allowed him to have a spiritual awareness. After understanding the energy, he became closer to Buddhism. Indeed, according to him, Buddhist principles are in line with his discoveries on the universe and energy. Besides, like Albert Einstein, he recognized the singular perfection of life and of our universe: to emancipate oneself, one must liberate the spirit from the constraints of time. However, he was misunderstood by all.
Ecologist of the first hour
The rapid consumption of the resources of the Earth (created by the man) worried Nicola Tesla. He was thus a proponent of renewable fuel. This is why he has studied methods of using natural energy (earth and sky) to minimize human impact.
Tesla was fascinated by radiant energy and its potential to become free energy. He knew that it was possible to harness energy directly through “connection to the true strength of nature. “
